Another solid album from little-known reggaman Izakka (aka Thami Sobekwa). Songs address social ills and reconciliation but with hard-to-decifer lyrics. Titles include "Kwaggastroom" (after the township south of Joburg) and "Saddam Hussein". There's a rock influence on "Reggae Blues" and soul on "Close to You". Liner notes pay tribute to "Lions" like Kaloi Lebona, Ray Phiri, Babsy Mlangeni,
Nana Coyote and
Stimela.
